To get a head start on your Wedding Entertainment plans, if applicable, consider the following:

• Contract your Memphis band, Reception Site, and rental items as early as possible! Obviously the most popular wedding months are April, May, June, and September, with the June events being the #1 option! Since availability is limited during those high volume months, selection may be limited. Some of our most popular Memphis bands are contracted up to six months or a year in advance.



• Most Memphis Weddings contract the band for four hours, which most often consists of three 1-hour sets and two 30-minute breaks, but we're flexible. If you'd rather have four 45-minute performance sets followed by 15-minute breaks, we'll certainly accomodate. You'll probably need some time for the timeless wedding traditions: cutting your cake, toasts, bouquet toss, and garter throw! You might even elect for the band to play three hours, consisting two 75-minute sets and one 30-minute break. During the break, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy all of the wedding traditions!



• If you've got that special song that is 'Your Song' that you'd like to have the band play for your 'First Dance' let us know. In most cases, with at least 30 days and a good quality recording, we can make it happen for you! Our bands may also provide CDs or other recorded music during their breaks, as you request - again, at no additional charge! You can even bring your own CDs or we can compile one for you!



• We'll also make available a microphone for your announcements of the traditional reception events, i.e. presentation of the Wedding Party, toasts, bouquet, garter, etc. In some cases, our band-members will even emcee for you!



• All sound equipment, lighting, power distribution, and ancillary production equipment is included at no extra charge! We also have colored lighting gels to make our stage lighting consistent with your wedding theme colors - also at no extra charge! All of our equipment is top of the line - the same equipment we utilize in producing the Memphis Redbirds Concert Series, the Rooftops, and hundreds of other events annually!



• Memphis Staging is optional, but preferred by most bands. It does add a more professional appearance to your event. We have staging in-house and can usually save you hundreds of dollars over another agent or staging company!



• A signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit will guarantee your entertainment on your day! It's that simple!
